Biography

What started in September of 1993 as a beta testing project for NCSA's Mosaic, quickly developed into a life long career. With the creation of Football Central, Benjamin was launched into the web design & development industry. He was even recognized by the "New York Times" as the hobbyist that built "the world's first sport oriented web site." Clients such as Aspect Telecommunications, Wide Area Management Services, Tangent Research & Marketing, and Voyager Internet Services quickly followed.

In October of 1999, Benjamin was hired full-time for Harding Marketing Communications, the leading provider of web design & development services for Hewlett-Packard. Over the course of the next 3 years, Benjamin designed & developed Internet & Intranet sites for enterprise companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Exodus Communications, Agilent, and Oracle; as well as a handful of small startups including, EO Products, MallTrip.com, CPLANE, Applied Engineering, and TransAccess. In addition, Benjamin created the SONY VAIO icons in 2001, landing Harding Marketing the SONY contract. For the next three SONY VAIO generations, Benjamin was exclusively placed in charge of Icon Development for the VAIO line.

In January of 2003, Benjamin took a position at Book Online Vacation Rentals as an Online Marketing Manager. Benjamin was placed in charge of overseeing the production of all the Book Online Vacation Rentals web portals including Dining Hound, the world's largest restaurant directory.

During January of 2004, Benjamin was offered the position of Internet Marketing Manager at the Franchising industries premier magazine, labeled Franchise UPDATE. Within a few months he had rebuilt three of their main sites, and launched 3 more. He took the helm overseeing the development and marketing of Franchising.com, Franchise-UPDATE.com, AreaDeveloper.us, The Business Resale Network (br-network.com), The Franchise UPDATE Development & Leadership Conference, and the MultiUnit Franchising Development Conference and Expo. In addition, Benjamin brought their struggling search engine rankings to the top, holding the #1 position for the keyword franchising on Google, MSN, Yahoo, Altavista, Lycos, and Excite for several months. His elaborate strategy brought traffic to the site from all avenues, including at sophisticated RSS Syndication system which broadcasted Franchise UPDATE's articles and features to several top online news sources.

Currently there are 109 web sites attributed to Benjamin Foley's web design & development experience. Other companies, such as the Swiss Internet security leader Celeris AG and Florida based "Carrollwood's Best Magazine", highlight a decade of web design & development experience.
