Beginning in September of 1993, Benjamin began working as a independent consultant for several small web sites. One of his most successful web sites was Football Central, 20,000 page web directory of everything that has to do with American Football. At its peak Football Central received several million visits per week and contained more that 50,000 links to Football related sites.

Developed print ads featured in the San Jose Mercury News, The WAVE Magazine, and also promotional postcards to be mailed out to vacation rental owners. Oversaw the search engine optimization which resulted in a 1500% traffic increase over the course of 4 months. Lead a small team of developers to produce the Book Online Vacation Rentals site, their resort sites, their corporate site, and their new Dining Hound dining portal. Built relationships with vacation rental owners and produced a monthly newsletter to keep them updated on the evens surrounding their industry.

In October of 1999, Benjamin was hired full-time as an entry level web developer and quickly progressed to Site Lead where his responsibilities included: managing several client sites, working both on-site and off-site to fit client needs, leading a team of 5 - 10 web developers, designers, and programmers, acting as fill in web developer where needed, acting as the point of contact for clients, quality assurance, and developing courseware for future development trainings.

Hired in 1995 to produce the WAMS web presence, Benjamin quickly became a valuable asset. WAMS took advantage of his web knowledge by assigning him the task of improving Aspect Telecommunications web presence. Shortly after Benjamin began developing courseware for use in instructing college professors on how to use the web and build web pages. In addition to building and maintaining the WAMS web presence Benjamin also designed Business Cards, Stationary, and even the Corporate Identity.
